Spotlight on JL

quote:

Jarrett Lee said he considered leaving LSU but that he never contacted another school about transferring.

"It was definitely something that crossed the back of my mind," Lee said. "But I didn't come to LSU to transfer. I wanted to stick it out. It's a special place and I really wanted to graduate from LSU."

How can you not love this kid as an LSU fan?

great write up... good post.... JL deserves all the good that comes his way, God knows he has earned it... no matter how this season plays out, the guy is a class act and will be a success no matter what he does..

It appears through 3 games that he is everything we have missed on offense the past few years. He forces us to have an identity, and he is a quality individual obviously devoted to the university similar to many of us.

Too bad a lot of players at LSU didn't stick it out and get a degree.....instead of going to the NFL and NBA....show me the money........now nothing.........

Gotta admire the kids work ethic and toughness. This whole board wanted him gone after 2008 season. I'm glad he stayed!

If that is not standing tall in the pocket and taking the hits, I don't know what it.
