West Virginia turned down by SEC? Due to Baseball or Florida State?

Why would the SEC turn down West Virginia? Does West Virginia have a baseball/softball team? Does Sleeseball Slive have his crooked eyes on Florida State?

Because they can't bring anything remotely positive to the conference would be my guess. Sh*tty academics, an athletic department that's meh at best, and no gain in terms of media market. But their couch burning is kind of something.

Conference Expansion Board and WVU academics suck. The state of WV has less than 2 million people.

Dude no one besides fans of a few teams care about baseball and I mean no one. It certainly has no bearing on all this.

FWIW WVU officials called that an outright lie and SEC denied it...I believe we are probably like 4th or 5th on the SECs wishlist, but because it doesn't seem any other team is going to work out, I still think we have a very slim chance
