The fans have been clamoring for this move for weeks it seems...word of caution Bucks.....be careful what you wish for. Miller has potential but hasnt been exactly lights out. This might be brutal watching him play this weekend. He was terrible vs Miami and his only other action was vs Akron. Is this really what the people want?

It's clear this isn't a Big 10 championship caliber team. Get him ready for next year.

If they're smart. You're not replacing Dan Marino with him...come to think of it I can't even name the current starter.

Play the kid and get him ready for Urban's dumb arse system

Im thinking come Feb of next year, Urban will have his choice of the Penn State or Ohio State job.

I don't think that's much of a choice for Urbs

Thats what the problem is.

Fickel isn't coaching for next year. He needs wins now.

Yes, it's what we want. Bauserman is inadequate. At least Miller has to be accounted for in the running game. Turnovers will drop with experience and he's the future. Let's prepare for the future.

Im sure Gee and Smith knew this going in. I dont think they have any intentions on retaining him. He would have to win the Big 10 to stay on. That why he is playing Bauserman. Ohio State has left him out to dry on this. No win situation for him at all. If he is being forced to play Miller the rest of the way, they might not even be bowl eligible.

vs Colorado - W

vs Sparty - ?

@ Nebraska - L

@ Illinois - ?

vs Wiski - L

vs Indiana - W

@ Purdue - W

vs Penn State ?

@ Michigan - L

I see 3 sure wins the rest of the way based on how this team is playing now, Illinois and Penn State are toss ups to me.

We do get Posey and Herron back, which I think will definitely help. Especially Posey.

We have no reliable recievers as of now.

Sadly, I think our streak agaisnt Michigan comes to an end. And if there were any doubts to Fickel coming back, I think this game seals the deal.

A lot changes throughout a season, and if we're starting a frosh game 4, by game 10 he'll hopefully have some confidence.

A strong running game, good defense, and no QB has won LSU 10 games a year in the SEC. Our D was soft the first quarter last week but stiffened. We just need to wear teams down and run the ball down their throats

Thats the hope I guess. Here in Cleveland. former Buckeyes Dustin Fox and LeCharles Bentley on rival stations have both been pretty honest after the Miami game. They seem to think that Fickel is gone without a doubt. They even suggested giving Kenny Guiton a shot at QB. What say you?

Posey and Adams will help for sure, but Herron?...If Jordan Hall and Hyde are lighting things up, not sure how he gets in that rotation. Rod "fumbles" Smith is in the doghouse and whats up with Berry?

Hell we are barley a MAC level championship team. We are not very good this year at all. tOSU will finish either 8-4 or 7-5. IMHO

Miller didn't look terrible to me. He had two turnovers but christ at least the kid was making plays. Bauserman was inexcusable.

Here is why I want Miller to start:
quote:

PDBuckeyes Doug Lesmerises
Joe Bauserman took 37 snaps, Ohio State offense gained 94 yds (2.5 avg). Braxton Miller, 18 snaps, 115 yds (6.4 avg)

If he's going to have a baptism by fire let's get it over with.

2012 = Enter Mr. Urban Meyer.

As of August 26, 2011

Urban Meyer dodges question on Ohio State interest.

Yes, he made freshmen mistakes against Miami and didn't look that good. But fickell never game him a shot to get into the flow of the game. He provides a better chance to win than Bauserman IMO.

Boom Posey and Adams have all been considered top 2 round draft picks.

We need all 3. Though Jordan Hall looks beastly, i don't know if we can handle 25 carries a game
