If the PAC-12 isn't expanding why would UT agree to OU's demands?

OU was convinced they had an offer without Texas. They got put in their place. Poor okies. Texas has its own network and its own conference and the okies have to deal with it.

well, let's see. The SEC needs at least one team. And OU is tired of UT's crap and the PAC-12 isn't adding. Hmmmmm

If the Big 12 stays together in an assured dysfunctional state, the WINNERS are, in order:

1. Texas A&M (assuming they go SEC)
2. Arkansas/LSU
3. Rest of SEC
4. ACC, Big 10, and Pac 12

Then you have your losers

Biggest loser = OU

Followed by the rest of the big 12 sans Texas. And I think Texas is only a slight loser given that they will likely retain their network in some modified state. They will be the #5 winner if no changes are required of their network though (or maybe even the #3 winner).

Getting the LHN revised would be a loss for UT...

So now, what are the chances they (OU) come to the SEC?? And do they bring OSU along? Do you think the SEC or OU would seriously be interested in each other?

Stu, Drunkstein is hilarious...UT is now stuck in the unstable Big 12, with no offers anywhere, and OU has emerged as the leader of the conference (both on and off the field). If the LHN gets modified, it will be even more funny.

OU will do what we tell them to do and they'll like it.

The fact that UT is even entertaining a "five year plan" to stabilize the conference and appease OU (and presumably remove Beebe) simply confirms that UT has its nuts in a vise.

But I guess OU will do what UT "tells them to do," right?

So if the big 12 does remain, they still need to add a team, right? Or would they go with nine teams?

That's the funniest part, frickers even making demands on who leads the conference. Wow.

This whole mess has worked out better than I could have ever imagined.

A&M is completely held hostage by BAYLOR!

OU just got shot down in their attempt to go to the Pac without Texas.

Seriously, from a Texas perspective, this is priceless.

I know you guys hate Texas.....fine. I would hate us and our network too. Still, even the most rabid Longhorn hater has to admit the comedy in all of this is beyond measure.

If OU wanted to get the last laugh they could go to the SEC. I wonder if the SEC would take the OU/OSU package.

You're right, there is a lot of comedy in that NO conference wanted Texas with the Longhorn Network..
