All, I mean every single one, of the JJ supporters would have to agree with this. Last year their only point that they could make for JJ during the W. Virginia - Florida games is that JJ was the starter and LSU hadn't lost a game yet.

I fully expect all of those same people to agree with keeping Lee the starter this year.

i supported JJ and i agree. if we were 1-2 then why not. but it's clear lee is doing what needs to be done and no reason to bring in someone else especially someone else with a cloud of controversy. the team doesn't need it

LSU doesn't need ESPN to tell them how to run their program.

ESPN should learn to fix their own program.

they wont.

you have to keep in mind that theres a large faction on here who want LSU to lose every game because 4 years ago they guaranteed that would be our fate if we stuck with Miles. they'd much rather LSU fall apart so they could gloat on a message board than for LSU to win the NC and stake their claim as one of historys great programs.

I am a JJ supporter until he is proven guilty. I am highly critical of Lee. I still think Lee should start if JJ comes back because Lee is getting a little better every game and he is playing much better than JJ did last year.

I'm also curious about the recent increase in JJ talk. Has anything even developed to warrant discussing this?

I have never pulled for LSU to lose a game, nor a specific player to perform poorly. However, I will admit to having my doubts about certain players and/or coaches, Les Miles being at the top of my doubts. I knew after he perfectly parlayed the Michigan openening with solidfying his contract at LSU that he was going to be here for a while, whether he did great or not. I personally believe that Kelvin Sheppard kept that team together last year and salvaged a 11-2 season.

I am here to say that I am glad that things have worked out the way they have. Les Miles has built a very solid coaching staff, and he has done the most important thing for a college coach... RECRUIT!!! This LSU team is stacked with talent, and most of it is young talent. I am loving this ride that we will be on for the next couple of years.

No, they don't.

fact 1: Lee is the starter.

fact 2: LSU is 3-0, with 2 wins over top 25 teams.

fact 3: JJ is STILL suspended indefinitely.

Conclusion: Lee, having actually practiced for a month, and likely longer will continue to start by virtue of reps alone...even IF JJ returns.
