Big Game pressure this season - QB change possible

I think it will come to a point where we need the arm of Mett to beat a strong defensive team, ie Bama, Arkansas, maybe West Virginia. I'm very curious to see if our offense line can continue to keep our running game strong...and keep Lee from having to win with his arm. I know Lee has won big games for us in the past, ie Bama, Florida. But Mett's throws are more accurate and stronger, keeping our players from getting killed or defenses from tipped and intercepted balls. I can see Mett coming in during Bama game 3rd Quarter, after Lee has a ankle strain.

Lee seemed ok making big time throws in the Tenn, Bama and UF game last year coming straight OFF the bench COLD....

Lee is doing pretty damn well, so give the dude a chance before we "bench" him.

Geez. The only reason that Mett should play in a critical situation is if Lee falls apart and becomes totally ineffective.
They have the same skill set. You don't switch them out. It made sense to bring in Lee last year when we needed to throw because Jefferson was horrible at it and at least Lee could throw down field.
But, Lee CAN throw downfield and you would only bring in Mett if Lee was hurt or if he is throwing interceptions every 5 pass attempts or something.
Can we please stop this? We now have a ONE QB system and that is how it is going to be.

i couldnt disagree with this statement more. Youre effectively saying, if it isnt broke, dont fix it, and dont try.
Just becuase something works doesnt mean you can make it better. If Mett is better, he should play, period.
I think youre assuming Lee is better than Mett. Does anyone really know unil hes in the game?
