Obviously it wasn't full, but did somebody's scanner break or is that accurate? If so, that's pretty pathetic honestly. Home opener, #2 ranked team and a week after a huge beatdown of another top team in a national showcase.

Everybody raises hell when there's only 6 home games, and not enough night kickoffs, yet they can't be bothered to actually go to the ones we have.

Definitely seemed like more than that, at least for the first half

Also, it's NWSU. Give them a break

No way that was the actual count. That stadium was full at kick off.

It was Northwestern State, a second tier college football program that most major high schools could probably beat. I didn't go either because it would have been a gargantuan waste of time.

Agree 100%. But we should know by now that it's not about the football, it's about the party. People are quick to get to campus for 7AM to tailgate, for 12 hours, but can't be bothered to sit through a 3 hour game.

They announced at the game it was 92 something. And there weren't hardly any empty areas at beginning

Play is probably the appropriate word for last night.. because it most certainly wasn't any work.

You guys are aware LSU, like every other team in the SEC and beyond, are not going to play top level teams every week right? That some weeks are against lesser competition? It's still ok to come and watch the team you supposedly pull for, and enjoy watching some live football on a Saturday night. Not every game is going to be '07 Florida.

Pathetic excuse. LSU has a legit schedule this year why in the hell would you want anymore tough opponents?

I'm not even an LSU fan and I was there, it looked about 95% full at kickoff to me.

Paid attendance was 92,405. Definitely wasn't a full house.
