Baylor had originally used the "Don't Mess with Texas Football" to promote their desire to not be relegated to C-USA. Well, apparently the Texas Department of Transportation has a trademark on "Don't Mess with Texas" and has forced them to change their slogan.
The new slogan is "Rise up for Texas Football".

See... Even people in their own state think they're morons.

The DOT should have another slogan..."Don't mess with the Texas DOT".

I wonder if Baylor jokes will replace Aggie jokes?

Football in Texas is more than a passing interest, it is a part of the fabric of this great state.
Will Texans stand by and watch hundred-year-old rivalries be cast aside as the state's largest universities align themselves with other states across the country?
You mean states like Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri? Oh NOZ, the horrors!

Will Texans sit and watch as Texas' flagship universities pledge their loyalties to other states?

Will Texans stand by as our most promising student athletes are lured out of Texas by new rivals?
Like that doesn't happen already? Darron Thomas? LaMichael James? Oh, Baylor got Seastrunk back so they saved Texas! YIPPEE!!!

Will Texans watch as our most precious resources—the great minds of the next generation—are exported to new conference institutions?
Too much fail already. I can't take it anymore.
I know understand why Nebraska and Colorado had to flee with the quickness.
Even A&M can no longer stand the high and mightyness of the I-35ers. Highway 6 runs both ways (so Aggies have told me). The Aggies have finally figured out the best way to travel on Hwy 6 is east to H-Town on Buffalo Bayou and down I-10 across the Sabine where nobody gives a shite about the University of Texas and their little fluffer boy Ken Starr. Get as far away from Dallas (Big XII HQ), Waco and Austin as you can. You won't regret it.
Houston is home to SEC Guy and it's high time it became SEC Country. The I-35ers can go to hell.
Yeah, I might be mad.

Yes, Baylor endorses loyalty to Texas schools like TCU, Rice, Houston and SMU. Rise up Baylor and rejoin them like you did when the old SWC went under. Or did I miss something back then?

So they finally gave up on their sham of an athletic program, and are now advocating support of UT's Football Program? How very christian of them.
