It's not fair having a woman like that and shooting those monster bucks. Too much good karma IMO.

Maybe she's really a total bitch, and since she hunts with him he can never get away. That would suck.

I Have never understood the concept, since I usually get along well with the ladies in my life. Having an S/O who enjoys the outdoors is a huge plus IMO. If I need alone time, they usually understand.

Not every man needs to "get away" from their S/O. My wife loves the outdoors as much as I do. She can drink beer, bourbon, and scotch as well as most men. She can catch fish as well as most men. She can talk as much smack as anyone. She knows as much about football and baseball strategy than many "fans" that I know. She's smoking hot and funny as hell. And when the fishing is slow, we can rock the boat like there's no tomorrow. Why the hell would I want to get away from that? Is life not better when you surround yourself with truly great friends?

I can only handle so much estrogen before I need a break. Whether it's going drink with some buddies or sit on a deer stand or going fish. It doesn't matter the girl, and it isn't anything against them, that's just the way I am. My gf loves to fish, and I like bringing her, but if she came every time I'd go crazy.

Been trying to get my SO to go hunting with me but she refuses and only fishes if the weather is perfect.

Mrs Cove wanted to go with me once. She planned everything out and had the day set up perfectly, until we got up that morning and it was 11 degrees with a North wind around 15-20. I took her to Empire State (the 24' buddy stand on our lease.) Surprisingly, she lasted two hours and we didn't see a thing. She was shivering so bad, I thought she was going to fall out of the stand. Told me she was NEVER going deer hunting again. Problem solved.
