Anybody been there? I'm looking for a new place to watch games. How is the beer situation, the TVs, etc?

I went there once and it seemed like a shithole. There were 2 maybe 3 TV's and lots of gnats. I didn't stay there long but it there weren't many beers available if I recall. Also, it was way too bright in there.

Looks like its only been open for like 3 weeks. I would guess most people have not heard of it yet (I had not).

I went a few weeks ago. Not a lot of seating options, and only had a few TVs. I wouldn't watch a game there.

Thanks to all. That's kind of what I figured, but you never know. I thought it being new and "Irish" they might have some nice TVs for soccer and good beers on tap. Back to the drawing board.

I used to live Uptown, so I would go to Bruno's for day games, Cooter Browns or Tracy's at night (Bruno's got a little young & douchy for my tastes at night). Now I'm in the Marigny, a block from the Quarter. Not the best area for watching football to my knowledge, but Mid-City is like 5 minutes away. Suggestions are definitely welcome if you have any.

MRB in the Quarter on St. Ann right down the street from Irene's has a ton of tvs and also has a kitchen. Buddy's family has a condo right there so we go there a lot, its a good spot.

No. Without soccer on I will just hang at the house.

Cool. I may just go to Finn's. I haven't been there in a long time, for no particular reason. Will the bartenders know who glassman is?

As for MRB... I've been there. It's ok at the bar, but no draft beer. Plus Decadence is this weekend, not that there's anything wrong with that. It could be all assless chaps and whatnot. This is LSU vs Oregon, damnit.
