I was listening to one of the local sports talk stations yesterday and it was on one of the national ESPN shows with several of their lesser-known talking heads. They ranted about LSU for more than a few minutes. Here are some quotes:

"LSU is so dirty, just talking about them makes me feel like I need a shower"

"With all that has gone on, Miles is hanging on to his job by a thread"

"Of course LSU is corrupt. It's Louisiana, the whole state is corrupt!"

Aside from the second comment which only proves that these idiots do not have a clue about the situation down here, how fair are the "dirty" comments?

These a'holes are just trying to make a name for themselves as talking heads, and bring in some advertising dollars at the same time. They forget that the NCAA recently held us up as a model program for compliance......

You're dirty if you're denying obvious infractions. When you fess up every time that you misstep, you're not dirty.

Compared to Miami, USC, or The Ohio St., they are not that dirty. Every college football team would be dirty if you actually counted barfights.

if you agree that 80% of the top programs are dirty in one way or another, then we fit into the 80% group.

Cleaner than most, but College sports are like making sausage. The less you know about how it gets done, the more you enjoy the end result.

Dirty List:
Miami
UNC
USC
Auburn
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Oregon

I feel like I'm leaving someone out... but Lsu wouldn't make my top 50. Barfight is not dirty, hell, one of my first teenage+ fights I was in I kicked someone in the face, then sat on top of them and continued to smash forearms in their face, so when I hear JJ kicked a guy.... so the f*ck what. Having a coach call a kid who never plays, then kicking them (no pun intended) out of the program, before the player ever plays is not dirty. RS living with GF? Clean. Anyone who says Lsu is dirty based on the events of the past couple of years is a f*cking idiot.

obviously we aren't squeaky clean, but we're probably the cleanest (good) program in the SEC
