Said he liked Jarrett Lee and doesn't think LSU loses much by starting Lee IF Jefferson isn't cleared.

Chris Lowe.
Man of knowledge and common sense.

I don't know that they would lose that much if Les started at qb. It isn't that hard to be much better than 109 in the country.

Commented on the clutch passes he made versus top opponents last year.

I know it kills you to hear someone like Lowe say that.

I'm sure most of us supporting our starting QB would agree.
But sometime a "little" fall off matters a great deal.

Chris Lowe is a rational, intelligent human being that shares my thoughts. I'll go a step further and say we have a better chance of winning with Lee as the starter. Jefferson isn't a great QB and limits you in the passing game. He needs to be used like RP was used in 2007 behind Flynn.

IMO, with Lee behind center the running lanes will definately open up more. If JJ plays, defenses will load the box, lock up press coverage on receivers, and force JJ to prove he can beat them with the pass, which he has yet to prove he can do that on a consistent basis.
Lee however can beat you if they play that way. So, I see nothing but positives if JJ gets suspended.

I still support Jefferson as a QB IF he is cleared. But I will say that this has created a huge distraction for the team and he had the responsibility as leader of the team to prevent it.

This post has so much sense and truth to it. Finally, someone on the rant that understands what is going on with the QB situation. But watch out, you will get crucified by the JJ wagon.
Good post.
