If you truly think he is innocent, wont you be much happier knowing they did a full investigation to clear him?? No one will be able to say the BRPD just turned a blind eye and he got away simply because he was a football player. If you are so damn scared of an investigation, it sounds like you are scared they will find proof he is guilty!

I don't see as many defending him as people saying lets wait for the facts before convicting him. They can investigate, for sure, however if this wasn't a football player, i doubt they would be taking DNA over a bar fight.

i just think dna and forensics tests for a bar fight is a little extreme.

I'd rather you bitch about them riding around pulling people over for seat belts, or working speed traps than bitch about them investigating a felony! just sayin!

In fairness, if the story leaked out by the guys who got beat up is true, then what happened is pretty horrible. I'm just pretty sure they had some part in the fight happening as well.

Oh, he is guilty of something. Somewhere between being out after curfew and Kicking someone defenseless on the ground are the possibilities. The punishment being significantly different as you move through the scenarios.
I am not a defender of anyone, but the staff and authorities need to make sure their actions against whoever are substantiated.
They don't have rant usernames, or this thing would have been wrapped up.

i think with all of the crime in baton rouge the BRPD is spending too much time and resources investigating a barfight in which no one got killed or sustained any life threatning injuries.

I have. I believe in the system. If you are convicted, then you punished.
BUT, I have yet to see, or hear, one grain of FACT that suggests that JJ did anything that warrants all of this attention. I have watched the video 10-15 times and I find it hard to believe that was JJ kicking a guy on the ground. The two guys kicking are too short to be JJ.
I am not naive enough to believe there wasn't a fight. There was. Having been in my fair share of fights throughout the years I know one thing to be fact: Both sides are at fault.
