If I were the LSU SID, I would just confirm what many believe are the facts of this case:

1.) That a group of LSU football players were blocking a car from the leaving the parking lot.

2.) Some members of the group of players removed the driver from his car.

Then I would explain the players actions like this. The group of players noticed that the driver of the car was severely impaired and should not be driving. As a result, they intentionally blocked the exit so that the impaired driver could not leave and hurt someone. When he honked his horn for them to move, a couple of the players asked him not to drive. When he couldn't be reasoned with, they tried to remove him from behind the wheel to potentially protect himself and others.

Then he became beligerent and started hitting the players, who then tried to protect themselves. Outsiders in the crowd thought the man was being attacked and ran to his defense. However, the players thought those people were attacking them and fought back. Then players then realized that their good deed had gone awry and decided to leave. Upon doing so, JJ accidentally tripped over one guy's head. It was all a misunderstanding.

Actually, I hope the truth comes out, and those involved are punished accordingly.

Because if this goes to court and they are put under oath and state this, they would have way bigger issues than they already do.

He thought really funny and original jokes didn't fall in "bar incident" criteria, per say.

How about a 5th LSU football player who maybe charged with destruction of property for jumping up & down on a vehicle causing significant damage to the automobile. The number of players charged with various crimes could increase from 4.
