Ingram-probably. The guy that I want to see stand out is Chase Daniel. Stop all the BS about us needing another Back-up QB.

Payton said the first team is going to get 12-17 plays correct?

Colston, Ivory, Thomas are out right?

Did David Thomas ever get resigned?

I'll say Will Herring is going to make some plays.

Skipping Ingram (will do very well) and going to say the whole D-line. From the new tackles to Mr Junior Galette. The frisco o-line better be ready.
The Saints are coming baby!

The starters will be limited in snaps but i would expect to see some of the new starters get a few more. This would include-

Ingram
Kreutz
Jordan, ideally takes up the slack if Will Smith out the first 4 games
P-Rob with Porter out. A very critical year for him. A standout year will make it difficult to re-sign Porter if he stays perpetually dinged.
OLB is the hotspot for competition. Totally up for grabs IMO.

OLB competition definitely will be interesting. There will be a lot of rotating people in here. Herring, Shanle, Wilson, Ingram, Casillas, Bussey, Dunbar, and thats only the guys competing for 2 starting spots. Should be fun.

Hello all, I'm new here. Anyway yes Colston and Ivory are both out. I didn't think PT was injured/out, what's the deal?

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ingram break some fools off tonight!

Welcome.

I'm ready to see Ingram do some work, curious to see what Sproles does as well.

and why is this BS? Considering the importance of the QB position, it's critical to have a good backup QB ready to come in and succeed. If CD is good enough to be that guy, then let him roll; however, it is never BS to want a good backup, nor is it BS to question a guy as a competent backup who was undrafted and hasn't proven anything yet.

I want to see Herring and Casillas tonight. That OLB spot is still our main concern, and hopefully these two can step up and be good.

Junior is the man, yo!!!

All eyes will be on Ingram and Sproles IMO, as well as our defense.

I want Chase to come out and do well. Very well in fact because I truly believe he can. He was an exceptional player in college and Brees himself says that he is right where he needs to be but every year we want to find someone to take over the backup qb role. Go ahead and throw names out there who MIGHT be better. Either way you look at we would be bringing in another either washed up vet or unproven backup. S why not stick with the kid who undoubtely knows all the ins and outs of the offense and has been mirroring one of the best qbs for 3 years now. I'm not going to say Chase would be anywhere's close to Brees if he had to come in but I believe you would barely notice if not for the fact that they aren't built exactly the same. You put Chase in there with the 1's and he would be really good.
