Falcon Coastal has been great for me, and it looks great on the water.

I have a couple loomis rods and they are really great. Iam also a big fan of the much less expensive hammer rods, I have a few hammers as well. They are on opposite ends of the price scale

Love my falcon coastal. Very resilient rod. One of my buddies stepped on mine when it was leaning against the front of the boat deck and it di not break. That was 4 years ago and it is still like new.

I rolled the tip of mine 10 inches up into my dad's retractable bed cover and it held up

Go with a falcon. I have a falcon original and falcon hd and they have both been awesome.
