I'm shocked no one has posted this yet.

Scroll past Pee Wee Herman

Some highlights:

quote:

-LSU went through their first full pads practice Monday outdoors at the McClendon Practice Facility. The practice opened with the “Big Cat” Drill. A little refresher: the Big Cat puts two players—one offense and one defense—in the middle of the circle and they have to try to push back the other. Here are some of the more interesting matchups:

-Kevin Minter destroyed Nic Jacobs

-Karnell Hatcher beat Michael Ford

-James Stampley and Lamin Barrow both faltered prompting Les Miles to scream, “You’ll never play ball here like that!”

-Kadron Boone pulled out a draw with Brandon Taylor

-Eric Reid beat Jarrett Fobbs

-James Wright scored an impressive win over Ronald Martin

-Reuben Randle and Micah Eugene pushed

-Russell Shepard had the most impressive win, controlling Jalen Collins

-Odell Beckham, Jr. and Tyrann Mathieu went even as well

quote:

-Jordan Jefferson was very impressive throwing slants. This is a timing route and it’s pretty clear Jordan and his receivers know each other very well at this point.

I saw some video of the big cat and everything is pretty accurate except the Minter Vs. Jacobs bit. Minter actually put his head down and didnt make good contact and Jacobs kind of stopped. Les even called Minter out for not having his head up and making good contact. But the end result was Minter kept going while starring at the ground and he did eventually take Jacobs to the ground. I wouldnt call that destroyed.

Man...Kadron with a huge upset. I would have taken Taylor in 2!

I hope this means that OBJ isn't light in the cleats if T-Raw couldn't blow him up.

Sounds like Turner is impressing. Don't know if he'll see the field this year or how big he is, but I'd like to see how good a return man he is

why is that an upset?

Boone as well as James Wright are both pretty big, physical WRs. He prob weighs as much as Taylor
