Went to church today in Gulf Shores today. The gospel was about Jesus walking on water. The priest says, "unknown to a bunch of alumni in this state, Jesus is the only one that could do that".

Maybe he was simply throwing a wide sweeping jab at how people in that state put football on a higher level than religion?
His statement covers about 98% of the state and the sad part is 100% of that 98% all assume that he was talking smack against their favorite coach or player.

Kids!!! Football and deification is not new. Years ago there was a photo of Bryant walking across Mobile Bay. The Phillips 66 out on the Causeway where we stopped had one in office. Bout '66....
