What Offense Did Stud Run at Bowling Green?

Just curious if anyone knows.

He put up huge passing numbers, so I assume Urban Meyer's spread/West Coast influenced Stud's offense. And of course a pass-happy offense in the MAC is not unusual.

I'm sure Stud could run Les and Krag's run-heavy play-action offense.

I guess under the circumstances, it's best to promote the guy with coordinator/management experience.

I'm concerned but not panicking. I still think we go to a BCS Bowl and have a good shot at New Orleans.

Put it another way . . . his current head coach is a guy named Les Miles. See where this is headed?

you do realize that he isn't going to install a new offense all of a sudden right? they will be running the same offense that was run last year, which is the same "new" offense that krags brought here.....

Uh, yes thank you, I realize that.

The purpose for my question was, since Stud WOULD be in charge of the offense pretty much as-is, if he had any experience running an offense close to what we run, or if his O at Bowling Green was totally different.

It won't matter. I guarantee that this situation today doesn't change our playcalling much at all if any.

They're not going to revamp or signifgantly alter the offense in the next four weeks. So, we're riding the system that we got.

It'll be a different offense this year. The philosophy is entirely different. You can run an air raid out of Ace and it makes no difference.. it's the philosophy that is important.. not the formations.

Why didn't Meyer bring Stud with him to be OC at Utah? Legitimate question.
