It's tough to get a great online record running the flexbone almost exclusively, but I enjoy sucking the life out of an opponent 4 yards at a time.

Any tips or good teams to run this offense with?

I will start running it soon when I get some time to practice. I had been running with FSU online for a while but their run blocking is terrible. The drawback to running that online is facing crazy blitz's from human opponents almost guarantees a tfl or a Homerun if they guess wrong.

I dominated with it in '11, especially if the other player used ohio state so I could pick Oregon. This year there seems to be a built in delay with the counter option plays that really hurts running that offense. Your FB gets stuffed and the QB takes so long to make the turn the DE is waiting on him to get out of the animation.

It's very tough to run against most 3-man fronts if the player has a clue. Some of the quick passes are decent against those crazy blitzes though.

What I hate the most is the safety that can cover both the qb and the pitch man 5 yards away. I agree with you about the counter option - not much success with it this year.

I created one on TeamBuilder and started a dynasty with them.

Unfortunately I've only played one game with them, but I did beat Ohio State soundly. Probably because of the abnormal amount of turnovers.

Try using teams loaded with speed at the crucial positions like Michigan, Florida, Florida State, and Miami. I haven't peeped LSU's roster, but they could be a safe bet too.

I've had bad luck with Michigan. I think Denard Robinson is almost too fast on this game to run the option all the time.

Or the safety that can move from the center of the field to right sideline in a split second to break up a pass.

If you're going to use flexbone, you HAVE to pass. I find a flexbone offense one of the easiest to stop. Played this dude who was Georgia Tech, I controlled a DT, spied Mingo, brought in the safeties, and brought the LBs in man coverage. He couldn't do anything unless he passed, which he only did like 5 times.

This. I wish my secondary would bat passes down at the line and have rocket boosts on my back 7/8. I wish my lineman and linebackers didn't worry about being block on any screen passe or having to look back at the quarterback to know when he has passed the ball, even if you aren't covering the guy it's going to.

On offense, I wish my corner could get a 10 yard head start on a corner who apparently doesn't know that you can react to a wide receiver running right past you. I wish my backs could break every other tackle. I wish my quarterback wasn't suction tackled or even if he was being sacked he could still throw the ball away.

In reality, I wish EA would pull their heads out of their arse and fire the NCAA staff for being so incompetent.
