Oh you screwed....go with Peterson

Yes, I won my league last year.

Well that's good...except last year doesn't mean anything anymore.

Seriously?
This is not a question. Keep Peterson. RBs are too valuable. QBs not named Peyton Manning-you never know.

Kind of in the same situation, but I have chris johnson instead of ap. Vick basically won my league last year but seems cj is just too important. 70% going wit CJ, but let me know who you go with. btw i view cj and ap about the same so i say go wit ap. too bad we both have awesome rb's wit shitty qb's on their team

Take your RB and get in the QB market...It's better then having Vick with say..Forte as your #1.

Vick is a gamble.
Think of it this way, would you want AP knowing he is reliable. Or Vick, knowing he could possibly do what he did last season and set the fantasy football record for pts in a season? Even more, would you want to go up against the guy that got him?
Vick is a high upside high downside guy. But since fantasy football is all about gambling, id keep Vick.

Any chance you can trade Vick for a draft pick?

Trade him for two players with high potential is another way to go.
Get a Rookie RB like Helu and AJ Green for Vick. It is a gamble either way but something like that could have good upside in keeper leagues.

Not sure of your scoring system, but Vick was the leading scorer in my league in points per game played. Foster was the overall winner since Vick didn't start every game. AD finished 20th overall in my league as well. Vick outscored Peterson by 13.2 points per game last year in my league. That's pretty huge for everyone to just dismiss this guy's question.

Most of us are looking at the risk that Vick presents. Vick may not play all 16 games this year and that should hurt his stock. Foster was better last year then Peterson, but again it was one season and we haven't seen Foster repeat those same numbers.
Keeping Peterson gives you a top 5 back guaranteed. It's the safe sure bet.

I'm in the exact same boat. I'm in a 10 team league and most of the other owners are keeping their QB as their keeper. I won the league last year, so I will be drafting 10th. I know all of the picks before me will most likely be of top RBs and WRs...so I'm leaning toward keeping Peterson but like the post above mine, Vick was head and shoulders above Peterson in scoring last year based on the way our scoring is set up.
I'm concerned about Vick playing a full season.
I'm concerned that Minny's lack of passing game and the loss of Rice will cause teams to defend the run first until McNabb proves that he can still quarterback at a decent level.
Help me out here guys??

It isn't how high Vick was above Peterson because their stats are different. You need to compare QB to QB and RB to RB. What are the gaps between the top QBs and the gap between the top RBs.
A good QB usually finishes with more points that a good RB. (depending on league settings)
