It has to look like the one that they have been using since the World Cup last year.

I've looked everywhere but nothing

False.

I tried so hard when I was there this Christmas. Only place I saw that sold them was the Nike store but there were no names on the back. They have tons of knockoffs for cheap though at little tourist shops.

You may want to try ebay with the worldwide search option and maybe also the specific ebay holland website (if you can navigate through searching in Dutch).
I'd guess there will be some authentic ones for sale there.

99% of that stuff is fake. (If not more.)

WorldSoccerShop.com should have it, kitbag.com should have it, soccer.com should have it.

If you don't need name & number, I think Third Coast in Baton Rouge has them.

Ill second worldsoccershop.com. I got mine last year from a store in my home town but I know at the time worldsoccershop had it too. They carry stuff for just about every team. Good luck to you

I have used eBay numerous times before and the jerseys are authentic as long as you are careful; just read the description and the seller's feedback carefully. They usually come from Thailand or China. The downside is that they take forever to ship (4-7 weeks); but if you're willing to put up with that, that's the way to go.

I've gotten some jerseys that look pretty real from places like Thailand and China, but I'm almost positive they are still fake. And yeah shipping is killer

This guy is truly a fan. 100% of his posts on TD are on the Soccer Board.

Right through Nike, site is down but you should be able to get one from there then.

Not true. The difference is that they make the clothes there, so the eBay sellers are buying it straight from the factory instead of through a retailer. They probably bypass licensing and most of manufacturer markups too. All of mine have had every tag and patch that an authentic jersey would have.

I agree. There are lots for sale that are obviously fake but the real ones are exactly the same as you buy in the team store.

I could be totally wrong but I've always assumed there were so many available simply because the factories make runs of say 5% more than the actual order and sell the extras off the books to local retailers to make extra money. That's the shady part as the clubs don't get their fee on these but the jerseys are the same as the ones being shipped out.

Keep telling yourself that.

I post this every time someone asks about authentic jerseys and people try to point them to eBay.

How to spot a fake NHL jersey

I can 10000000000% assure you that if you took your jersey to Third Coast and held it up next to a replica (without even discussing authentics) that only an idiot wouldn't be able to see the difference.

By the way, you state that as fact.... can you post a link to the information that corroborates that?

ETA: Here's your quick guide to purchasing jerseys: If you aren't purchasing it from a reputable retailer in the "first" world, it's fake, ESPECIALLY if it's coming from the Far East.

I looked at a few places, because I thought you were just dumb.

Nobody has them. I'd guess they're going to release a "2012" here soon.

Third Coast should have the replica. You can go to www.onionbag.com and get pretty much any current number and lettering. Bring the numbers to third coast and they will put the numbers on for you. Theres always eurosport (www.soccer.com). If you try to get something on the cheap your going to get a knock off. You get what you pay for.
