How much would you think one is worth?

"A" mounted moose head? Or one you killed? I would not want one someone else killed- nor any mounted animal, for that matter.

Seems to be a decent quality. It has. 45 in spread. Looks nice. I did not kill it but just kinda ended up with one and I'm looking to dump it on cragslist. Just have no idea what it's worth.

eBay seems to have prices around a 1,000.

That would've been my guess. A lot of restaurants and lodges are always looking for stuff like that.

My buddy's dad found one at a garage sell and nailed it to a tree about 30 yards off the main drag at their camp in MS. Talk about throw you for a loop when you see it the first time.

This or your local hunting/fishing store would probably love to have it

My first thought would be I think it's illegal to sell wild game. I would check into that first, granted most people do it and get away with it, but I would be aware of it at least before I sold it.

I think that applies more to selling a recreationally taken game animal or selling meat from it.

Not my understanding. Had this discussion numerous times with several GW/law enforcment freinds.

Pittman-Robertson applies to Waterfowl, however there is simmilar wording for wild game.

Hmm. That's good to know.

Not that I'd want to buy someone else's trophy anyway
