Sprint Cars are open wheel cars that race on dirt. They have the highest HP to weight ratio of any race car (approx 850hp, 1400lbs). This is a local guy named Jack Sodeman Jr from by me who went up to Quebec for a race. For some reason his wing came off of the car at the fastest part of the track.
Jack had to have immediate surgery on his leg and is pretty banged up but will make a full recovery thankfully.

Granted there is alot of white trash at the dirt track; you get to a certain level where most people are actually high class. I'm 20 years old and been racing cars since I was 13. I've raced asphalt late models, dirt late models, and dirt modifieds and it gets expensive. We have 2 cars (each cost about 60g), a 18 wheeler to haul both cars (cost 250g), and it cost about 1,200 to race it a night. Dirt racing is 100x more eventful than NASCAR. And most nights you get to see fights in the lower divisions.

Those races are so much fun. My dad used to take me to the Sharon Speedway growing up.

Sharon is...well, was... my home track.
I was just at Eldora for the Dream like three weekends ago, then I came home to Hubbard (Youngstown) and went to Sharon's Ohio Sprint Speedweek show on a wednesday then went to the Firecracker 100 at Lernerville that weekend.
And yea, the username is inspired by Sprint Cars when I got on the internet like 12 years ago

I think the half mile. The last time I was there was 2003ish. Somewhere towards the end of high school.
