I suppose this is akin to the brochures Michael Owen made last year before he signed with Man U.

Hargreaves was a classy player in his prime, and the only England/Man U player I could stand, even though he beat us with this freekick.

It could be argued that Hargreaves was the best player ever born in North America.

Blanco would be in consideration, but Hargreaves started a CL final as a twenty-year old. I suppose his main competition would be Hugo Sanchez, though I'm probably underrating Americans in this regard, save John O'Brien.

such a shame. Hargreaves would have continued to get better and better and would have been a great player if he could stop getting hurt all the time.
