ULL definitely shouldn't be LAST.

Right?

They can't be that bad. Granted, I don't keep up with them aside from their one game on TV every couple years...do they still have Rickey Bustle?

This is Vandy's Excuse:
quote:

Former LB Hunter Hillenmeyer: “Vandy is always fighting an uphill battle. Stiff academic standards and a smaller student body than the rest of the toughest conference in football makes competing in the SEC a dogfight. In meeting coach (James) Franklin, he seems to have the right stuff to keep Vanderbilt headed in the right direction.”

Just saying, Stanford has stricter academic standards, thus, by their reasoning, shouldn't Stanford have trouble as well? I know they're not in the SEC, but a #4 ranking vs a #91 ranking is nothing to sneeze at.

Stanford

has a much bigger draw than Vandy, IMO.

Stanford has Andrew Luck. Vanderbilt does not. I think that's the difference in the football programs at least.

Not completely true. The higher you start the less teams you have to pass.

Stanford has been recruiting top 25 classess the last 4 years and I don't even see Vandy in the top 50.
