I have never seen a CB do a shoulder-dip on a blitz before.

The one in the Cotton Bowl was very impressive. He made himself really small so the guy couldn't touch him but kept his speed going and hit the QB with force.

hes a very savvy player, especially for a frosh. always getting his arms up if he couldnt get to the QB on blitzes, causing many picks, that strip and recovery against the gaytors. plays like a 10 year NFL vet, not a true frosh. super impressive kid. will only get better

so pumped for football season!!

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm worried about...he plays bigger than he is.

I still can't believe the impact TM7 causes on contact. He hits like a 250lb LB. We're going to love watching this kid the next 3 years.

Though I personally think referring to him as "Little Ball of Hate" is unfortunate, I do agree that Mathieu is one bad dude!

Just as important, he has a tremendous nose for the ball - always in the mix.... especially on loose balls. If he doesn't directly make the play, you can bet he's only one step away.

I was going to say, he might be the player we can least afford to lose for a significant amount of time. Especially if he's a beast punt returner, too.
