Mete Serdar Coban-The Best There Never Was

I don't know if any of you have been following this in the press at all, but basically someone who is likely a 24-year old Cypriot-Turk in London has fooled the Turkish media into thinking that he is a 17-year old youth star for Inter Milan.
He claimed to be 17-years old and a product of the Galatasaray youth system, who moved to Milan at the age of 11. He also claimed to have played for West Ham's youth team. He ended up on LigTV (basically the Turkish ESPN) claiming that he will join Mesut, Nuri, and Hamit Altintop at Real Madrid because Mourinho liked his play at left back on the Inter youth team. This story was even picked up in Marca and the Italian papers.
He had a YouTube page with footage that was intentionally distorted (apparently it was actually younger Inter players scoring goals, and you can see different numbers in many of the videos). Unfortunately, the videos have been deleted, and the only interview I have found is in Turkish. But for anyone who knows the language, it is so obvious that he is bullshitting about everything. He's caught in lies where he mentions Atletico Madrid and other teams he has played for although his offical bio never mentions them
And the press didn't catch on until some message board posters contacted Inter and received verification that they had never had a player named Mete Serdar Coban
Poor kids thinking they got the autograph of a star player

Beautiful deception. It's like that guy who pretended he got offers from Cal and other Pac-10 schools. It's not as good as Ali Dia though. Graeme Souness
