Supernatural fans, I just met Jared Padalecki

He was at my gig in Nashville. Talked to me after for about 20 minutes and was just the nicest dude. I've never seen the show and knew he looked familiar, but didn't put it together until he mentioned that Jensen Ackles(I knew him from Smallville) married a girl from Eunice...then some girls asked to pose for a picture with him. He had a beard and much longer hair than from the Supernatural promo's I've seen.
Anyway, just thought I'd let Supernatural fans know that its star is nice and down to earth(and his wife is gorgeous and nice). I know I always like to hear these exceptions to the celebrity a-hole persona.

Supernatural, the best show people aren't watching.
Its like a younger X-files, but with less slow episodes. Really a great show. I hope they get a season seven.

He married Ruby from the show.
You had a much better celeb encounter than the Laurence fishburne guy BTW

I never heard much about The Wire until I kept seeing it pop up on people's "top" list on this board. I bought DVD set online. Once we started it, the wife and I watched the entire series in less than a month. Just a solid all around show.

they did. at times season 6 made me wish the series had just ended with S5. got kinda interesting down the stretch though.

Yeah he was prolly 6'4,6'5. W/ some pretty sweet cowboy boots w/ white flames on them. Said he lives in Austin most the time when he's not in LA.
