I find it interesting that so many of Jacksonville's key players are from the north. Guys from NY and Wisconsin. I guess they just go out looking for good players that want to play in warm weather. It's a good strategy for them I guess, since there is so much competition in state for guys, between other D1 schools, JUCOs and top D2 programs.

I haven't been watching since espn3 crapped out on me about 20 mins ago. But I've said before my thoughts on Ross are this: He came in and started as a freshman with no experienced catchers on the roster to help his transition. Gibbs also started as a freshman, but he at least had Ochinko there to help ease the burden and ease the transition. The only other guys we had at the position were two other first year guys in Snickeris and Slaid. The transition is tough, his hitting will come around. He will be better next year and he will also help make the incoming freshman catchers better.

Go here and click on the link "By conference". It has a running tally.
ACC and SEC tied at 11-3. Pac-10 is 9-3. Big 12 5-7. CUSA 3-5.
