I'm only 28 but I remember the wars during that era. The Bad Boy Pistons. The Knicks/Pacers rivalry. And so on. When there were basically no going to the paint or you would get block knocked off. And no hand checking rules. So how would LeBron and the current NBA stars perform in that era??

He would dominate, just as he does today......probably even be better/more dominant.

He would do just fine until Laimbeer clotheslined the shite out of him.

His average would be about 6-8 points lower. Lambeer and Mahorn would pound the shite outta him. And he would only do the 1 dribble from the mid courtline and dunk once a week at best.

This correct. He would not be getting all these touch fouls that he does now. Somebody would hit him every time he got into the paint and it would've been fair game.

Sure he'd get roughed up more, but he'd still dominate. No player in the league like him in the 80's or today.

Better question is, would a guy like Lambeer even be able to play in today's game?

yeah. he was tall, could shoot, and wasn't afraid to mix it up inside. there'd be a role for him.

He'd go to the line even more.

And if anyone is big and strong enough to be able to withstand how physical the game was then, I think Lebron has proved he'd be able to withstand it.

I have no clue where some people get there rationale for their arguments on the MSB.

Just craziness.

Best player in history.

The best player ever will be the best ever no matter when he plays.

He would actually be called for traveling but so would every other NBA star in the league right now.

Players always got away with traveling back then as well.
