Oilman's is this weekend? F! i'll be heading that way saturday. Good thing ain't no way regular boats can get where i'll be in my yak!

I've seen some crazy things during the rodeo down there. A couple years ago I was helping fix a friends dock and all of a sudden we see a boat hauling arse down the bayou and before we could yell at them for throwing a giant wake we noticed a naked woman on the front in all her glory(no pics).

Heading down this afternoon, but not for oilman's. Damn all the boats that will be there. The weather is looking good.

Definitely plenty of hookers down there for that weekend. I have been to a few "shows".....

I am going down around noon today. Will try and fish this afternoon and in the morning. Hopefully the wind stays down. Good Luck.

I'm back.
We picked up our limits on Friday in the little boats, wind was higher than we expected. Should have taken the biggie.
Went out again Saturday in the big boat to Pelto, sat in one area all day, picked up 61, mostly nice specks. It was off and on, lots of boats moving and looking.
Hooked into a mess of reds, was offered a female for them from another boat, passed.

we did well on friday afternoon catching around 80 trout - nice size. Sat morning we only caught 14 - windy and boats everywhere.

Exact same report here for Saturday. Fish just were not biting. Sunday a.m. had an early bite. Managed 30 trout before 8:00 am.
Damn wind and the weatherman are pissing me off!

Good to hear that y'all caught a few fish. We didn't even try and fight the wind this weekend. We caught an ice chest of crabs to boil while we swam in the bayou all day yesterday. Had a good time. Hopefully the wind will lay this week so we can catch some fish next weekend.
