LSU North Carolina License Plate

Hello to all Tigers! Please let any and all Tigers residing in North Carolina to obtain an LSU North Carolina license plate. The state has authorized the plate and we need 300 applications to start printing them. With your help, we can show NC that we are the dominant SEC school in the area. I am about to make my move to NC final in the next 2-3 months. Is there a deadline to request one? I haven't registered my car in NC yet.

how did yall get this to happen? i would love to see an LSU plate for Alabama. I know there are a lot of tiger fans here!

Texas also has an LSU plate, along with Auburn, Kansas State, OSU, Southern - Lousiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Nebraska, OU and Tennesee.
Myplates.com will create just about any plate, provided you put up the money for it.
We can now even get hamburger joints on our license plates:

The Atlanta LSU Alumni Association has been working for a while to make this happen in Georgia. Georgia DMV requires 1000 pre-paid pre-orders before they'll start making the plates. The last I heard, orders weren't even close to that number. The first list of pre-orders expired, and the DMV required a new list of pre-orderers.

Alabama apparently has similar quantity requirements as GA. If we can get 250 people to commit they can print a 'generic' plate with space for a decal. For a full custom plate, we would need 1000 folks. Sounds like a good job to approach the Birmingham section about (since we don't HAVE an alumni section in North Al)

My Texas plate doesn't look like that. Instead of the eye I got toonces. Is the plate with the eye available?

Sounds like what happened in Tennessee. We tried for years to get a LSU license plate, to no avail. We had over 300 orders and they required 1000 also. Had Purdue, Indiana, Clemson, etc. plates but not LSU.
