AK(M) Trials and Tribulations

I just wanted to share some recent occurrences on the part of the WASR-10 system.
I recently took the gun out to the shooting range to test it out and just have general fun with it.
I'm estimating that I only put 100-150 rounds down range.
Then, after a week had passed, I went out to the range again. I purposely did not clean it - simply because I was intrigued by its history as a highly dependable weapon.
Well... the end result after having only fired 20-30 rounds during my second trip was this: shattered extractor and cracked bolt carrier.
* Previous extractor versus new Brownell's purchase:
* Crack located at junction of bolt carrier and gas piston:
I doubt either of these had to do with me not cleaning it - probably more related to shitty parts.
I'm going to leave the bolt carrier alone and see what it does.
Anyone experience similar issues?

Damn that sucks! 1 of my AK's is a century but definitely never had an issue like that. Century WASR's can be hit or miss but I know they have stepped up their warranty program to resolve issues. I'd give them a call and see what they are willing to do.
Not that this should matter, but what kind of ammo were you shooting?

Cheap stuff.
It was a blend of bargain bin Academy rounds and some TulAmmo... all steel cased.
