Our favorite spot over there is a bit to the west of Biloxi, but right off of Hwy 90 (beach blvd). It's called ConFusion and it's damn good. It's a fancy martini bar type of place that serves really interesting dishes. here are menu pics.

The place is a little more than halfway to Gulfport on the beach, but the drive should be beautiful.

This is where I went. Reminded me of an old guard New Orleans restaurant.

We are pretty open. I suppose something better than a chain but not exactly 5 star. Sorry for being vague, I was looking for different options and plan on letting her decide.

Mahoney's would be a great bet. French and seafood, can be a little pricey for dinner.

Good steak, check out BR Prime at the Beau Rivage. Also some others are 32, Ruth Chris, etc. Also a good hole in the wall place called Capt Al's, serves only Steak and shrimp.

I'll tell you where not to eat..

The Memphis place in the Beau Rivage.. $55 for 2 to eat there and Voodoo BBQ serves better food.

might want to give Vrazels a shot - if you feel like venturing in to Gulport. Also, Ocean Springs is just over the bay bridge and they have a few interesting little spots
