Actually an episode that makes me actually wanting to see next weeks. Finally used the stargate, and finally have a plot that I am interested in.

I'm sure I can find some flaws. I'll watch it later tonight to find them.

No doubt. But don't be surprised if you finally find an episode you don't totally hate.

Agreed. One of their best. Hopefully, they'll go out with a bang.

A momentous occasion. That was a pretty interesting episode.
Couple of questions though.
1.Why would the groups have splintered along the lines of Rush/Young since Rush wasn't even with the group that went through the gate and pretty much everyone on Destiny seems to hate Rush?
2.Aren't gates supposed to be almost indestructible? That gate sure got blown apart by a lame arse attack.
3. Thirty years on the 2nd planet and all they had were tents? They sure did drop the ball on building. This observation was even stranger considering Eli and his group that went back in time WITH NO SUPPLIES built houses within 10 years. Yet the group that WAS supplied until the gates stopped working had freaking tents. Pretty darn good looking tents considering their age.
Eli is definitely pulling a reverse Hurley from Lost. He looks like he is dropping weight even though Hurley gained weight stranded on an island.
I am sick of the drones. Just a weaker version of the replicators without the personality.
Overall it was a very solid episode and actually felt like Stargate for real. If they had had more episodes like this, maybe the show wouldn't be on the way to the trash can.

Possibly from the old keynote footage that they revered.

quote:The keynote was from the early days of the new settlement. Rush was not on the planet with them thus no keynote footage. Heck even had he been on the planet do you see Rush talking to a keynote for more than 30 seconds.

Seems the number of MB viewers has dropped even more. They actually missed a real stargate episode.

They actually missed as close to a real stargate episode as SGU will likely ever get.
