I LOVE that line. Even though I know it's coming I have to pause it from cracking up laughing so hard. His delivery is just so hilarious.

"Check the lease pal! You're in frick city!"
"Well look where you are..you're on frick mountain!"

"I'm looking for hermano"
"Como?"
"Ohhh..I'll put YOU in a como!"

In the first episode when Maebe has to sit on George Michael's lap in the car...
"Hold on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!"

And putting this in text in no way does it justice, but I love it in S1 when he hooks up with that FUGLY indian woman because he thinks Michael likes her, and says she'll never call again. Then he gets a call and is like "Who is S. Rajnagupta?" And he answers it and makes a hilarious face. Dammit I love that scene.

Wife of Gob: I'm in love with your brother-in-law.
Gob: You're in love with your own brother? The one in the army?
Wife of Gob: No, your sister's husband.
Gob: Michael? [angrily] Michael!
Wife of Gob: No, that's your sister's brother.
Gob: No, I'm my sister's brother. [happily] You're in love with me — me!
Wife of Gob: I'm in love with Tobias.
Gob: My brother-in-law?
Wife of Gob: I know it can never be, so I'm leaving. I'm enlisting in the army.
Gob: To be with your brother.
Wife of Gob: No!

Let me just cirsumvent you.

What's the guy with no arm? I forgot, but when Michael is talking to George in prison:

"That guy died?"
"Yes, you killed him when you left the front door open with the air conditioner running"

J. Walter Weatherman, I think.

Graft vs. Host... When you think about it, it sounds like a match-up between tennis player Steffi Graf and Happy Days star Donald Host.

It's Most.

Cokes have you never seen it, or you just need to rewatch it? I did a full series rewatch about a month ago and it's just as sidesplitting as the first time.

never seen it

I bought all three seasons of it about 6 months ago, but just haven't had the time to watch it yet. I've seen an episode or two back when it aired, but being someone who didn't watch it back then, I could tell I was missing a lot of the jokes by not knowing the characters and their histories. I still thought some of it was good though, so I'm sure once I get into it from the beginning it'll be hilarious. Plus, a buddy of mine who has the same tastes as me watched it and said it was greatness.

I just basically have to find/make the time to watch three seasons of this thing.

Just watch the first couple of episodes and you won't want to turn it off. The best thing about the show is that it has rewatchability (I made that word up). They foreshadow a lot of the jokes but you don't start picking up on it until the second or third viewing.

Man I'm telling you, watching this will be one of the best TV decisions you've ever made. It's not like a Seinfeld where you can see an episode here or there and it not matter, so you KINDA have to watch them in order without taking 2 or 3 weeks off. But they're only 20 minutes each so it's a really easy watch. After the 1st episode I thought it was ok but nothing great. I watched about 2 or 3 more and was hooked, and at that point I couldn't stop. I think on my first watch I watched all 3 seasons in less than 2 weeks. It's that good. Even if you just watch an episode or 2 at night before bed you can knock it out quickly.

I think S3 is widely considered the worst of the 3, but by that point you're too hooked anyway. Towards the end of S3 when the writers knew they were getting cancelled they even wrote jokes about it into the show.

"What about the Home Builders Office?"
"HBO? No they don't want us."
"Showtime?"
"Yes...we'll put on a show"

No, you didn't.

And I expect it will be similar to me and The Office...I watched The Office during the 4th season I think (Dinner Party was my first episode), and immediately bought the previous seasons. Once I started watching them, it was almost like a "Where has this show been all my life" kinda thing, and I watched the first three seasons in about 2 weeks. I couldn't pop the DVDs in fast enough.

True, but I watch so much shite now. Always watching movies or other shows. I'll try to pop in a few episodes soon though.

I have the utmost confidence that you will feel the same with AD. A lot of it is extremely dry humor, which I love.

Bob Loblaw's Law Blog or

Michael: "Tobias we need to get a recorder so you can listen to yourself."

later on...

Tobias: "Oh Tobias, you blowhard!"

I've been anxious to get back into a queen.

Oh my gosh, I forgot about maybe my favorite AD quote ever. If it's already been linked I apologize, but work filters block that out. It's when Carl Weathers is at the party and takes that old bone from Tobias.

"No no no, you gonna throw that out? Take this home and throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby you got a stew going!"
