Ron Brooks showed great vision on all 3 of his returns during the spring game. He seemed to find the seem every time and made our coverage look very suspect.

I understand there was a light contact rule on kickoffs...do you think that made Brooks look better than he was? Regardless of the rule, there were a couple of returns that no one got a finger on him until he was 30+ yards down the field.

Expect a few speedy incoming freshman to be on the coverage team.

This, as with every year. Micah Eugene and Ronald Martin are a couple that come to mind....

Reid, Mathieu, Simon, Baker...? 2nd teamers?

The kickoff team consisted of the white team members...the majority of the white team are offensive and defensive starters. My intent was not to bad mouth the coverage team, but more to praise Brooks for what looked like some nice returns.

Our coverage was spectacular last year, till Blue got hurt. Then, it was very suspect. I've never seen Brooks have a good return during a game. That being said, he did look good against our coverage in the SG. Would love to see him excel, but I doubt it. Look for guys like Claiborne,TM,RR, and Gore to be the guys that do well IMO.
