I Want to Buy a Kayak

I'm looking to buy a fishing Kayak to be using by this coming weekend.I would really like to find a niced used one for my first. I'm going camping at Caney this weekend and plan on having one. Anyone have one to sell or any suggestions. I've looked at Academy.

I'm just saying there are many kayak threads recommending which to buy on here. Oh well, I lost the biggest bass I've ever hooked out of mine yesterday afternoon.

I heard there is going to be a Judge Kayak soon. If you can wait, i'd get that one.
On a more serious note, depending where you live, all the quality kayak sellers are doing demo days, where you can try before you buy. High end kayaks are more expensive than Academy boats, but well worth it. Pack & Paddle does great demos on Lake Martin in Breax Bridge, including one this weekend, April 16th. Massy's does demos in BR and NO. The Backpacker does demos in BR at the LSU Lakes and in Lafayette at Sugar Mill pond. They all are very knowledgeable and can help you out with everything you need.
There are also a couple of kayak fishing clubs that host numerous tournaments, and can provide you with lots of info, though they are geared more towards saltwater fishing. The Bayou Coast Club is is SE La, and the Lafayette Kayak Fishing club is in Lafayette and SW La.

Pack & Paddle has Coosas, and I think Backpacker may carry them. Nice boats, but a bit slow. Excellent if you don't have to paddle very far, or are fishing rivers, where you go with the current btw bridges.
