Well that's pretty cool. Awesome for those thinking about buying tix. Been on the waiting list for a few years now.

I like how the seats are a little lower but it's going to make it tough to see over the sidelines now.

Slowly we get rid of the colorful seats

Now this is strange. My seats are in secton 101, row 34. According to this link section 101 now only goes up to row 29...I paid my first installment on the renewal they sent back in February. Surely they didn't get rid of my seats and still ask for payment.

I'm in the same boat. Section 154 only goes to row 21 and I'm in 28.

Row 28 is now row 12 or so... They'll call you to explain at some point.
If you were Invoiced for your old seats I promise you're fine - you'll have virtually the same seats but a new section/row number.
/ erxlaben saved us an extra roster spot.

Do the renovations increase or decrease seating compacity?
Posted on 4/4/11 at 12:33 pm to BlacknGold
Increase - but it's kind of iffy bc the affordable seats actually DECREASED.
All the new seats are like 2000 per year. Will bs interesting to see how this effects demand in general and also for the cheap terrace seats.

I think its so amazing when looking from different sections of the dome, that I remember the first story on WWLV.com in 2002 that the idea of "re-engineering" the dome was brought to the table with all the crisis between the saints and the state. It showed a sketch of the dome with natural light, new plaza seating with superior sightlines, and they mentioned building french quarter balcony style suites in the corners of the loge.
Besides the FQ suites, everything else was done, although the Natty light shines in the lounges and not the stadium itself. Back then when reading that I was thinking this was all a wet dream that won't ever get done. Seeing this accomplishment really makes me proud to see New Orleans got something done right. THey had help, but it still got done.
I wonder if its still expandable for Sugar and Super Bowls. I read somewhere that when finished there will be expandable seating to 76K but it was not from an official source. The only place I see adding seats for the bands etc... is from the endzone field level to around the 40 on all four corners.

that wouldn't sound like a bad idea.

Where's all the handicaped seating?
I wish they had gone all black on the seats. Not sure I like the gold, but I'll have to see how it looks in person.

Renovations increase capacity by over 3400 of which most are the $ 1000, 1900 and 2900 version

Haha yeah the seats are gunna be kinda ugly over the next couple years if they continue to change out a few sections of colorful seats to black and gold every off season

At the top of the plaza. Click on Plaza at the top and it will eliminate the graphic for loge and terrace and expose the seating.

They're changing out more than a few seats with the current upgrades ...i.e the ENTIRE plaza plus some of the club areas

Wow I have never looked at saints season tickets but with them being so cheap I am now. What is the best way to get on the waiting list?
Posted on 4/4/11 at 6:51 pm to LSUIEGRAD13
