I have not been paying attention enough to LSU football lately, but any chance this kid wins the QB job?

The way I read that article was that he is making some mistakes or not catching on to the offense as quickly as they like.

Les adn staff are impressed iwth his arm. If JJ comes out the way he did last year and we can't move the ball in air. I suspect we will see JJ early.

My qeustion is how does Jlee play in this equation? Could he suplant JJ? is looking to transfer? I mean he is the biggest anomoly in thsi competition. High Talent and great arm.

If he stops throwing off of his back foot, I agree. He could easily dethrone JJ if he stopped the basic, simple mechanic mistakes that caused so many picks.

Which means he's following the example of Jordan Jefferson.

Glad to know JJ's leading the way.

Yes...how much of a chance is unknown.

Mett will play cause JJ and JL are both seniors and we will need a guy next season who has some experience. imo

the hard facts are

Mett threw two tds in the last scrimmage

JJ threw one td and ran for one td, a long one.

JL threw one td.

its a long long way to Oregon game.

The kid from south Florida Jerrard Randall
who committed for 2011, 23rd player in the 2011 class,
the past weekend says he wants to compete for championships and that he is a QB and its the only position he knows how to play.
He's a dual threat.

Played out topic but ill bite..

At first I thought and liked it to be Mett but as of right now its close and for mett to start it would have to be not close, meaning he would have to be the clear answer. I'm content with JJ if he is much improved....Miles isnt going to start mett if its close, just no point of risking throwing him in and the same thing happend to Jlee in 08 happen to Mett and then possibly screwing him up in the head. JJ will be our QB 2011

I don't care how "close" it is. If Mettenberger's better, he needs to start.

Of course we know that this will never occur. That it is an impossibility.

Ace Rothstein would give up his daughter to Ginger in Casino before Miles sits Jordan Jefferson.

Yeah.

I've experienced all of Jordan Jefferson that I care to, thank you very little.
