Lake Maurepas bass fishing

Would like to do a little bass fishin on Lake Maurepas but have no idea where to launch. Never fished it before at all. Any tips? Thanks

Always did better on the rivers that tribute to the lake. Never had much luck on the lake itself....

fishing has been terrible in Maurepas since Katrina- cross over to Ponchartrain

Fishing is great right now in every river that hits the little lake right now, the lake will be good with a little warmer water, maybe another month.
