I want to go badly but I'm afraid there won't be any tickets available when I get there.

How about you?

I got tickets at the box office from the CSF game this past Sunday. I'm pretty sure you will have no problem getting your hands on some tickets for that game.

ETA: I am fricking retarded. Nothing to see here...

How do you know if it is sold out? Me and some buddies were going to make the drive, but if its sold out, we will be wasting our time

Lamar swept Nicholls. I think there may be some room at ABS.

If you go to the box and the lights arent on just hang out awhile. They will come on eventually.

Their fans will probably be outside trying to scalp them to LSU fans, like it's Omaha.....to them it is.

I just called the Nicholls ticket office and they said the game is sold out. Not even selling SRO tickets. She said their stadium has a seating capacity of 875 and they added temp bleachers bringing the seating capacity to "about 1,500."

Guess I'll just have to watch the game on the radio.....

ETA: This will be the first game I've missed this year.

I thought about it, but then I remembered it's Nicholls. Their crappy fans will think we care about beating their team if I show up.

You mean the TV right. Is the game on TV?

No and no.

My dad always said he was going to 'watch the game on the radio.' I think of him when I say it....

I went to the game a few years back and it was so freaking packed I left about 30 minutes after the game started. It was 20 people deep at every available standing spot.

that's strange because 6 years ago there were tons of people standing down both foul lines. attendance was a little over 2500. i don't see why nicholls couldn't sell sro tickets for this game, when they did 6 years ago.

Maybe you can convince them to do it. I couldn't.

The ticket office's number is (985) 448-4792.

It is without a doubt the worse place to try and watch a game that would involve LSU. All you can do is be there you'll never see much of the game. I know its improved (somewhat) but once in '95 I went to a game there and they beat us. But you had to cross a plank over a puddle to get to the porta-cans,(restrooms) and there was a table set up under the (grandstand?) and they served cokes and bottle water from ice chest as consessions. The setting makes the game seem like high school, and the Tigers don't even seem like the Tigers when they are out there. It's weird.

It means we will be reading Gmorgan's posts on The Rant while listening to the radio broadcast.
