Who's ready for some Monday night hockey with Jon Gruden?

I personally cannot wait to see the fallout.

I miss National Hockey Night

The theme song was almost as good as the NBA on NBC

College Basketball would be awesome if the top underclassmen had to stay for next season.

ESPN has 1 football game a week and what, 1 or 2 a week in basketball.

a good college game should play on sunday until these idiots decide to play

As would I.

If ESPN ever picked up hockey games and put them on ESPN3, I would be a happy camper.

If Bettman were smart (which he isn't) he would give the networks free hockey games to televise during the vacated time slots. Might be a way to bring in some new fans.

ESPN would just could just run Mike and Mike, Around the Horn, PTI, SportNation, and cover the lock outs on Sportscenter.

TNT would be hurt most by an NBA lockout, Vegas still would make money other ways. Degenerate gamblers will always find ways to give Vegas their money.

An NFL lockout hurts Fox way more than it hurts ESPN. ESPN would just devote more time to college football, FOX has nothing.

ESPN has MLS rights, so be prepared to learn the game of soccer.

I think Fox is the loser. It will lose a huge portion of viewership in the fall then their regionals will lose major dollars without sponsorship for spring, until baseball.

They never left they provide the facilities for B1G Network and the regionals. Plus they have the FCS Networks.
