HSE career help

I have a uncle in-law that told me to go become a HSE and he would give a job in the oil field without any expeience. Does anyone on here know what kind of trainig I will need to get this job. FYI he is supposed to hook me up with the leader in safety at his job, but kinda im-patient.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has a Safety certification program. Pretty reputable.
