I think it was to much but damn. Why would you bring a private matter public? The coach was out of line but that is no reason to tell on him. I am sure this happens more than people think.

the coach isn't apart of getting the rebound. he essentially blindsided the kid, and that's fricking bullshite. if the coach is apart of getting the rebound on that drill then fine, but the kid never saw it coming. i'd ask the coach if he'd like to try that while i was looking.

and he didn't kick him. he was trying to get him up off the floor with his foot, which is degrading. a-hole should lose his job.

So it's okay for a basketball coach to assault a player? If that were my son, I wouldn't want someone other than myself laying a hand on him or knocking him down and causing injury to him. I'm sure all of you would feel the same way if you had kids. If not, you should go see a shrink.

I guess you're not seeing him teach a valuable lesson about securing the ball after a rebound.

I'm just making an assumption here, but the people saying the the coach assaulted the kid potentially have never played sports. I don't understand how anyone that ever played anything with any contact could think that's assault. Bunch of cry babies in here.

I'll make another assumption, the kid crying assault probably doesn't play much if at all.

Ill make an assumption that you yourself never played sports it you think that behavior from a coach is acceptable in any way. fricking guy should be fired. That is no way to Coach. He's on some kind of power trip. It has nothing to do with being a pussy. Thats bully bullshite.

The coach was out of line, the kid looked like he was going to keep quiet, but since the school didn't seem to be doing anything, they filed charges. Looks like the school is the bitch here.

Soccer, football, baseball... take your pick.

Jesus, I'm only 26 and it's ridiculous how spoon fed the younger generation needs to be. Gimme a break.

So are you saying that all coaches should act like this loser and that there is nothing wrong with this incident?

Basketball, football, baseball for me and Im much older than you. In my day coaches thought it made you weak if you needed water during practice. We would practice basketball for 2 1/2 hours with no water break. When you started to get sick and cramp they would give us salt pills. I guess that made us tougher.

The fricking coach in this incident bullied a player and went way out of line and thats just a fact.

Did you feel the need to press charges for this?

I didn't see anything wrong on the video. The "kid" is a sophomore in college, not a 5 year old at Tee Ball practice. He's a pussy for filing charges and I hope he loses his scholarship.
