'Tis a stupendous moment!

Shaun Rogers cut by the Browns:

Ayodele played decent enough last year, but if Rogers could come at a reasonable price, a rotation of Ellis, Rogers, either Ayodele or Hargrove, and a rookie DT that we could develop would be pretty nice, plus let us focus on DE/LB/OT in the first.

I just saw that too. I think we could probably use Eric Barton too. Cleveland cut him also.

He is a nose tackle in a 3-4. So I have a feeling a lot of teams that run the 3-4 would go after him.

But having a 6'4 350 lb DT couldn't hurt the saints.

He may want a big payday too.

If he is reasonably at all I'd do that deal as long as he hasn't let himself get too heavy

wtf ya doing putting this on SPTalk?

if he has any gas left he'd be a great fit- if affordable enough

-the first plausible should we, we've had Captain Munnerlyn and Matt Flynn forwarded already

He was drafted at 320 lbs by Detroit and one of the reasons detroit traded him was because he didnt fit the 4-3 anymore becuse of his weight problems. Now he is over 350 lbs.

I think yall are forgetting about Tom Johnson we didnt sign him to a 3 year deal for no reason. They must see him playing a significant role and they know better than us I assure you...

I say yes, but I get the feeling our staff is content with the guys we have at DT and will only look to add depth there
