Can anyone recommend a brand or any specific features that I should look for when purchasing ?

Any help is appreciated.

TIA

What year and model truck? Are you getting a winch as well?

For example: The Warn grill and brush guards were terrible a year ago for the Ford pickups. (I'm not sure what they have now). Ended up moving my Warn winch from my old truck to my new truck but bought another brand of grill and brush guards.

Thanks for the response, no winch , just grill guards for driving to the hunt in south Texas.

I have and old Dodge ram 1500 and a new Ford Expedition to get equipped.

Entire front end: Reunel bumpers make the absolute best. I have one on my truck which rear ended a parked dakota doing 55 and was not damaged in any way other than a few paint scratches. They are heavy as piss. By far the best out there.

Brush guard: They are all about the same other than some minor differences. If you're mounting a winch it gets a little more crucial

All of the men in my family are 6'3" plus and the room the back seat affords is pure awesomness. I love my megacab but it drinks the diesel. Its going to get worse when I level it and put 305's under her. Oh well.

ranch hand makes some great heavy duty front end replacement bumpers & grille guards.

Many many other regular grille guards out there...shop around for style you like.

Mine's killed 15 deer, a dodge dakota, an astro van, several garbage cans, and it's propped up on a tree every time I use the winch. That somebitch is badddd

No offense, just looks too low and to wide with poor contours to fit the truck it is mounted on. IMHO

to each his own though.

I would love a road armor or alien patrol but have heard several horror stories about there customer service and how long it takes to get the product. also. they are not cheap.

The way I see it is that ranchhand looks the best, but they do not seem very heavily built. The bars on a reunel are solid shaft, not pipe. The whole thing is built out of 1/4" and 1/2" plate with full-seam welds. Ranchhand just does not compare in quality or toughness from what I can see. They do a great job of not weighing too damn much though. I had to put 1 ton torsion bars on my truck to hold up the bumper and winch.
