Name five sophmores that have out produced him to this point in their career. Some of you suck and wouldn't be happy with him if he outperformed Reggie Bush in college. If he has done so poorly, then tell us who has offensively outperformed him from that recruiting class.

There isn't 5 guys on the team that were higher rated out of high school then him. So saying your argument doesn't prove that he's lived up to the hype

Not obviously. I haven't looked at his stats, but off the top of my head Shep's were better in 09 and '10. I'm not knocking Randle in any way. I think he will be one of the best receivers we've ever had, but this board bashes anyone whose 20 without a heisman. Really, who in the country from that class has done better?

When Shep touches the ball good things happen. The games where he was a large part of our offense.. well.. we were much better.

I did and in 09 it's not even close. Rueben had more TD's this year, but Shep wasn't that far off with less carries as a runner. The point is not to sell Rueben short, he's the best receiver I've seen here in a long time. The point is that this board is killing shep and it's fricking sad. TR has without a doubt outplayed anyone in that class, but for all the shite some of you a throwing Shep's way I wonder what you guys are looking for? The dude has 2 more years to make his college career. Is Ford a bust? He was in the same class.

You said Rueben didn't, and just showing the stats that says he did

WTF? Garrett Gilbert and Tate Forcier are horrible. Andre Debose has been injured almost his entire career and Deangelo Benton has caught like 7 passes. And Nick Fairley was not a sophomore, he was a JUCO. Those are some of the worst examples you could have possibly given.

[quote]who in the country from that class has done better?

Tate Forcier - Transferring
Garrett Gilbert-2010 260 441 2744 59.0 6.22 63 10 17 18 110.99 Contributed because he had to, but good? NO
Aaron Murray - Played good
Andre Dubose 10 catches for 96 yards last year
DeAngelo Benton - NO STATS
NICK FAIRLEY-NOT IN THAT CLASS

Aside from Murray, no one in that class was more valuable to their team than Shep was to ours.

Why can't some of you just be jacked up about having RR and RS being leaders next year? Instead ya'll go on with a 5+ page thread thinking RS is riding the PINE next year? You bunch of fricking soccer players. We could trade for Debose and Benton...
