We have Reuben-deep ball/most dependable receiver. Replaces Toliver at Z
Shep-bubble screen, Jet sweep, get him in open space guy.
D-Lo-works the middle of the field, to fast for LB's, to big for safeties.
Clement-filled in nicely while D-Lo was injured. May give us the chance to move D-Lo back to WR and have a true blocking TE.
Those 4 are proven.

Then we have unproven but guys with great upside

James Wright-tall, good hands, takes Reuban's roll from last year as X receiver.
Chris Tolliver-Speed, speed, speed. Hope we see a trips formation with him in the middle and shep in the slot, fake the jet sweep to shep and throw the bubble to CT.
Kadron Boone-dont know much about this guy.

If our QB can consistently get the ball to the receivers WHERE THEY CAN CATCH THEM, then our receivers should have an excellent season.

We're stacked at receiver. Randle is due for a huge breakout next year. I don't know about Shep really been a wild card so far but if we can use him properly he can do damage. Peterson is a freak of an athlete I love that we have him. I played against Tolliver when he was at Rayville and I never got to touch him. Dude was burnin our safety every single play. I've never seen speed like that, that close to me. We should be alright. Like I said last year, we have more talent than anyone in the nation. We just need someone to spread the ball around to them.

He is overrated IMO. Has all the physical tools, but hands of stone and lack of desire.

He totally quit on that ball at the end of the first half against Ole Miss. It was embarrassing and he got called out by the D-back. Pretty sure he called him a pussy.

I second that. Delo hasn't really been all that impressive. I want to see Chase Clement. He's big, got some speed, blocks well, and has decent hands.

If someone can get him the ball, I think randle could break out with a monster season. hopefully the new oc whoever it may be, utilizes russel shep more in the running/passing game. Then theres also jarvous landry who has a lot of talent so it will be interesting. but it all starts at qb

Reuben, Landry and Boone are probably the best WRs, although I think Ware could probably give them a run for their money.

LSU is loaded at WR. And the receving stats can only get better from last year.

Jarvis landry is suppose to make an immediate impact...great hands

The real question is how good will our QB play be....I prefer zack mettenberger and think he will make our WR's shine like they were suppose to by leading them accuratly

Mitch Joseph caught more balls in the UNC game than Clement did all yr.

he then promptly disappeared from the gameplan (and got injured a few games later). we'll miss ya Gary!

Mitch Joseph was out of shape, hence his injury.

Watch out for Paul Turner, too. Very underrated, IMO.

Only counting guys currently on roster. Landry, while I'm 99.9% certain he's ours, kids do change their minds
